Pin-prick dots of pure, bright white, Piercing through the darkest night, Inky blues and blacks that capture Mother Nature's blessèd rapture. For here upon the tallest towers She sustains unearthly flowers, Watching night grow darker still, And her blossoms, blossoms bright... Blossoms that the Sun will kill. 'ere they fade with Morning's kiss, Live diamonds of the night's abyss. Yet they shall not be lost for long, Again, shall we hear their endless song! Sweet and soft as a lullaby are the haunting whispers in the sky, For behind it's illusion they sleep, as before, And there stars shall sleep forever more.

"If your heart is in your dreams No request is too extreme When you wish upon a star Your dreams come true."
~lyrics from disney's 'when you wish upon a star'

A spontaneous poem about the stars-stars that have inspired millions to believe in their dreams; including me.
I deliberately made this poem ambiguous, so it could be interpreted differently by different people. It is no master piece, far from one, but it is honest and the best I can give you.
I would love to hear what you make of it, so your thoughts would be most welcome!
Oh, and in case you were wondering, I painted the background.
I love your portrayal of night time
